About Me and this Project

It was several decades ago when I smuggled Dad’s Pentax ME out of the house and into school to take a picture of the girl I had a crush on. On and off, I’ve been doing photography ever since.

I fell in love with music around that same time. My passion for listening grew into playing, and eventually into writing my own songs.

By then, I had already failed in my first attempt to write an adventure novel at ten. Still, I kept collecting notes and quotes on random scraps of paper.

At eighteen, in the haze of a terrible fever, I dreamt of a trunk that would hold all these little pieces of me

something I would call Kanji. I think this website is beginning to look like that. I certainly hope so, and that anyone interested in these fragments of me can see them slowly coming together.
